This is by far the best macadamia nut crusted halibut we’ve ever had. In fact, it’s also the most delicious halibut we’ve eaten! Soft, flaky and moist with a crunchy nut crust. We’ve made this dish gluten free by omitting the panko, which is typically a low-quality product. Total prep time is under 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400℉. Rinse the halibut under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Transfer to a baking sheet. Sprinkle halibut lightly with salt until well-seasoned. Spread mustard overtop. Set aside.
Make the macadamia crust. Coarsely chop the macadamia nuts with a large knife and add to a medium-sized bowl. Add remaining macadamia crust ingredients and stir until well combined.
Cover the halibut with the macadamia crust and press firmly onto fish. Cut into serving size pieces, if desired. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn oven to Broil and bake another 1 minute to assist in a more golden hue. Watch carefully to ensure fish doesn’t burn.
Remove from oven and enjoy immediately. Serve with lemon wedges.
