Guacamole elevates any meal and can be mashed up in just a few minutes. This easy guacamole recipe uses simple ingredients and has the authentic guacamole flavor that everyone loves. All you’ll need are avocados, cilantro, onion, salt and pepper, lemon or lime juice, and jalapeño for an extra zing.
Remove avocado pits and mash the avocado flesh in a medium sized bowl. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix well. Taste the guacamole to see if it’s to your liking. If its missing salt, add more, or if it needs extra zing, add a little more lemon or lime juice.
Guacamole is best when made fresh to order as it will brown in the fridge when oxygen comes in contact with it. If you do store in the fridge, squeeze lemon juice overtop, as this will help to extend shelf-life.
