H&M announces its next designer collaboration: Marni at H&M. Just recently H&M released the Versace for H&M collection; in December the Trish Summerville for H&M collection will debut; and now you can look forward to the avant garde, quirky, feminine, off-beat, and funky designs of Marni which will launch at H&M on March 8th 2012.
The Marni At H&M collection mixes Tribal prints with Bauhaus graphics in a playful, colorful way that catches the sporty but always so chic world of Marni. Consuelo Castiglioni, Creative Director and founder of Marni says of the collaboration, “It is great to speak to a wider audience and in particular to the younger generations.”
It’s safe to say that the Marni At H&M pieces will speak to their customer more pleasingly than the Versace for H&M pieces did, which used an overabundance of neons, prints, and graphics without balancing them out.
But one thing is for sure, Marni at H&M will have great shoes! This reminds us a little bit of Lanvin for H&M, which previously created a gorgeous and funky line for H&M. Lanvin and Marni are a favorite when it comes to shoes and Lanvin for H&M shoes were no compromise to the regular Lanvin collection.

Marni is an Italian fashion brand started in 1994, named after Consuelo’s sister. The line began by designing and using fur as normal fabric for modern clothing rather than as old-fashioned fur coats. The Marni line expanded so that customer could wear something underneath their fur. We are so excited for Marni and with the release of the collection will come very long lines…maybe even longer lines than we saw at Versace for H&M.
