The holiday season always seems to transform my bag’s contents because it’s one of the most exciting times of the year. Isn’t it!? Even for New Yorkers, the city can be the most festive place in the world. For a girl on the go, it starts with the versatile handbag that goes everywhere. I am going to show you everything that I have in my handbag to survive life in NYC this week during the holidays.
Bag: the absolute best investment for any uptown girl is a large tote bag that fits almost anything and looks glamorous from day to night. In my case, the Foley & Corinna City Tote!

Broadway: sparkling ice rinks, bedazzled ornaments, and shiny window displays, washed down with many cups of hot apple cider and Starbucks holiday drinks, I’m loving it! To complete a wonderful NYC week during this fast-paced time of year, I like to see a classic Broadway show in Times Square.

Manicure: spicing up your nail polish with some nail glitter is the perfect way to add holiday sparkle to fingertips. For this look, I followed a DIY tutorial for one glitter finger by Cupcakes & Cashmere.

Style: during the middle of winter, I’m always attending spring previews to see what is in store from our favorite fashion brands for spring. After watching Herve Leger last week, I am obsessed with BCBGMAXAZRIA’S sherbert hued silk pieces, all fabulously draped and flowy—already dreaming of pairing with strappy snakeskin sandals for sunny days to come. OoOhh La laa!
Moisturize: for unchapped glossy lips and soft hands I use a moisturizer by a fabulous French brand called Votre Vu’s Duette Luxe. Pink lip gloss on the bottom and delicious almond pie hand cream on top, this duo is a lifesaver for long days on the subway, heading out to shows, and sipping sweet lattes.
