The much anticipated arrival of the high end designer collaboration collection, Versace for H&M, is set to launch TOMORROW, Saturday November 19th at 8am. I can see it already, fashionistas standing in line hours ahead of store opening…chatting, taking photos of the swarms, and planning how NOT to walk out empty handed!

The last time we got a big-time designer collaboration was Missoni x Target. Women around the states were not only upset, they were angry that they didn’t get a single thing from the much-anticipated sale. Meanwhile, those women who did score walked out with Missoni x Target by the bucket loads, taking it straight to eBay!

But, alas! H&M has planned out a very detailed shopping plan for anxious customers. That’s right, they’re not joking around people. H&M will give the first 280 customers at the door a colored wrist band and will separate shoppers into shopping groups. Sadly, these patient shoppers are only offered a 15 minute shopping period within the holy Versace section and are not allowed to buy anything in bulk (As a rule, only two pieces per style).
Don’t worry men, the time limit doesn’t apply to you…Arrghh! After the first 280 shoppers, the rest of the shoppers will be allowed in, getting the bare nothings of what is (not) left. Read more H&M x Versace shopping guidelines here. Are you craving some insider shopping tips?

VERSACE FOR H&M SHOPPING TIPS
1. Arrive 5 hours early if you want to be in Group A (that’s right, 3am)! If you’re in NY, forget about it if you don’t arrive at midnight.
2. Be sure to travely lightly. Don’t carry around a huge tote, clutch or satchel. Stick with cross-body bags that are lightweight and easy to toss over shoulders!
3. No heels. Save the loubs for later! You will look ridiculous hobbling around the store and your feet will kill after standing in line all morning.
4. Have a game plan! This is probably the most important. Browse the online lookbooks and decide on items you know for sure you will, and can, wear. Don’t waste valuable shopping time just diddle-daddling because you will leave empty handed for sure!
5. Be polite! Don’t fight your way to the leather jacket or palm-tree printed leggings. My mom used to say “You get what you get”…actually, ***** that! Every woman for herself! This is VERSACE!!!
