Ingredients:
8 Cups of Rice Krispies
Bag of marshmallows
Tootsie Rolls
½ stick of butter
Yellow and red food coloring
Pumpkin pie spice
Directions To Make Pumpkin Shaped Pumpkin Pie Spice Rice Crispy Treats:
Step 1: Melt ½ stick of butter over medium heat in a large pot; pour pumpkin pie spice into the melted butter and stir.
Step 2: Add the bag of marshmallows to the melted butter in the pot. Keep stirring until the marshmallows are completely melted. Do not let burn!
Step 3: Add about 5 drops of yellow and 4 drops of red food coloring. You will probably need a little more yellow food coloring to turn the mixture orange.
Tip: For darker colored pumpkin spice rice crispy treats, add additional food coloring.
Step 4: Add 8 cups of rice krispies to the mixture and continue to stir until everything is completely coated. Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes so that you can handle it.
Step 5: Put non-stick spray on your hands to prevent sticking to your hands and sculpt the rice krispie mix into a round pumpkin shape. Add a tootsie roll into the top of the pumpkin shape for a stem.
