Throw A Chic Football Party That’s NOT Just Beer And Wings
1. The Food Swap + Dessert
Swap #1 – Replace the Chips and Dip with Homemade Hummus and Veggies. Because hummus is filled with protein, antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids, it’s an appetizer the ladies will feel good about snacking on!
Swap #2: Instead of Fried Chicken Wings, try serving up Flavorful Buffalo Chicken Burgers. These burgers are made with all-white meat chicken breast and packed with veggies and spices for a delicious treat with less than half the calories and fat as their fried wing counterpart!
Swap #3: Serve the burgers up with a side of Homemade Sweet Potato Tots. These tots are gluten-free, vegan and packed with vitamins, because what’s more chic than healthy tots?
Dessert – Splurge on dessert with a sweet treat all the girls are sure to love, Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies! These cookies combine every girl’s favorite thing, chocolate, with the hazelnut spread that’s sweeping the nation, Nutella!
2. The Drinks
Forget the beer, mix up some fruity sangria to keep things classy, yet sassy! Who doesn’t love a little sangria?
3. The Décor
Who says a football party can’t have cute décor? Ditch those empty chip bags and pizza boxes for a lovely serving table for all of your delicious food and drinks!
Wishing everyone a happy and chic football weekend!!!
Parker
Oh man that burger looks so good! I may have to make a
couple test-burgers for myself tonight! We’re having a huge end of season
football party this weekend for all my friends and coworkers at DISH, and this
is exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. My favorite tip from last
year that I’ll be re-deploying is to always have more than one game on. With my
Hopper, I’ll hook up three HDTVs in our living room. The Hopper has three
tuners, so that will allow us to watch three different games, all at the same
time in full HD! All these other tips you have will come in handy, too!
