Or, if purchasing the store bought wax, you may become alarmed when your realize the kit did not provide enough waxing strips. Fortunately, muslin cloth found at your local fabric store is just as effective for DIY body waxing.

Once the mixture is fully combined whip out the plastic knife to spread the wax over that unwanted hair. If the mixture is two watery add more sugar.

Sometimes the winter months, or simply over processing, can be harsh on your hair. If you’ve been mistreating your hair with heat, dyes, or allowing Prince Charming use your ponytail as a rope ladder, this concoction may be your hair’s savior and preventive hero. After mixing the ingredients into a smooth concoction, part your hair into four sections (top, bottom, left, right) and saturate it with the mask. Place a shower cap on your hair and wash the mask out the next day. The suggestive treatment is once a week, but for more damaged hair use this mask three times a week.
3. DIY Anti-Aging & Blemish Face Mask with Turmeric, Yogurt, and Honey
This DIY beauty product contains three items you may already have in the fridge and/or pantry! The combined ingredients in this face mask helps us with two dilemma’s- anti-aging and blemishes. This mask has anti-bacterial and powerful anti-oxidant properties that will stave off bacteria causing acne while moisturizing and exfoliating your skin.

Spoon full of plain yogurt (NOT flavored)
tsp of turmeric
tsp of honey

The process is pretty simple. In a medium size bowl, mix in the plain yogurt (save that Jamie Lee Curtis Actvia yogurt for another day), turmeric and honey. Also, the turmeric does stain so avoid wearing your favorite nighty during the process!
4. DIY Eye Makeup Remover using Coconut Oil
A bad case of ‘TGIF’ happens to the best of us, and after a long week of hard work, all we want is to head out for happy hour! After sipping on one too many cosmos, you immediately want to crash head first into your plush pillows. Wrong! First, march yourself to that bathroom and make your face a fresh canvas for the next day! When removing eye makeup, many of us have used Vaseline. Any petroleum-based product can clog your pours and tear ducks which will result in blemishes and infections. Instead, dab a little coconut oil on your finger tips and rub it in circular motions over the eyes. Dab away the access oil and cleanse away the remainder. Coconut oil not only moisturizes the skin, but removes excess dead skin and prevents rough textures.
5. DIY Face Moisturizer using Jojoba Oil
Who said oil isn’t good for skin and hair? What’s amazing about jojoba oil is, not only is it a better alternative to sperm whale oil, which has been illegal for decades (who wants to kill whales for cosmetic?), but it is also superior to whale oil in that it’s light-weight structure mimics our natural sebum oil! Jojoba oil, an extract from an herb in the desert has anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties that fight against fungus and blemishes. When used as a do it yourself cosmetic product such as a moisturizer on the face, the oil tricks the skin into believing that it produced enough sebum, thus preventing you from becoming an oily side-show attraction, how awesome is that?
DIY Beauty Tip: Two tablespoon of this fab oil can also be incorporated into your shampoo or used as a hot oil treatment. After stepping out of the shower you can slather that smooth oil on in place of a lotion!

Interesting, nothing like going back to basics, I also heard raw unheated honey conditions the hair but also has agents to naturally lighten the hair. Have you heard of any organic hair mask without lemons that lightens your hair?
