Del Mar And San Diego Happy Hour After Horse Riding
1. Whole Foods, Flower Hill, Del Mar.
This is a major fav of ours. The Juice Bar Menu is fantastic and offers lots of healthy and refreshing options. The Tropical Garden smoothie is to die for! The Salad Bar there is also a great quick and easy option for the famished equestrian–great for refueling after a grueling day of showing or for a healthy bite after a relaxing trail ride.
2. Cucina Enoteca, Flower Hill, Del Mar
This is a great option for a fun, cool ambiance type of meal. Upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff and delish food! Cucina Enoteca has become a local hot spot after recently opening its doors and the Stuffed Squash Blossom is a must try. They have daily specials and some great happy hour specials as well. This is a fun place to go with a girlfriend or a group and there’s a fabulous bar scene and deck.
3. Sea And Smoke, Flower Hill, Del Mar
Sea And Smoke is a lovely setting to enjoy one of their mouth watering brunch treats, like their Orange Scented French Toast or their out of this world Cinnamon Roll sSndwich. The Beet Salad is also amazing, if you’re looking for a healthy option! We love that they source locally and buy from small independent vendors. They serve brunch everyday, have great happy hour options, and they also offer a fabulous gluten free menu.
4. The Brigantine, Del Mar
You simply have to trot on into The Brigantine for their Charred California Grass Fed Flat Iron Steak with herbed fingerling potatoes, roasted mushrooms, red wine jus. The Brigantine is a Del Mar local favorite and the place to be after a day of carousing with the horse set. Great food and an amazing location, it is the perfect place to unwind with a nice beverage after a day in the sun. Friendly staff and plenty of options to nibble on. If you’re after something sweet, the mudpie is superb and the Keylime Pie is heavenly!
