This fall season studs should be ruling every aspect of your closet. Nothing is off limits when it comes to adding studs, but it’s important to think about where and how you incorporate studs into your OOTD (outfit of the day). Too many studs is overkill, so pick 1 or 2 two items you want to rock your studs on, and leave the rest of the outfit a little more simple in order to let your stud-liness speak for itself.
Below, we’ve styled an outfit – all garments courtesy of Cusp – that is clearly all about the Balmain-inspired studded leather jacket. A simple, A-line, leather skirt with a girly pleat balances out the rocker in the studded sleeves. Layered underneath the jacket is a rustic, Southwestern-inspired knit sweater, (perfect for apres ski season!). When paired with leather booties, this outfit really comes together in a cool way! The studded purse, by Rebecca Minkoff, has minimal stud details, which enables it to tie-in with the rest of the outfit, without overpowering.
