I dreamed of a romantic classic wedding and I got just that at the elegant Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego on June 22nd, 2013. Taking inspiration from The Palace of Versailles for my wedding’s decor and theme, I kept to a white and champagne color palette. From white roses and hydrangeas to white linens and candles, our gold Versailles ballroom was lit up by fabulous baccarat crystal chandeliers. Our head table, which my hubby and I sat at with our close friends and siblings, was decorated more lavishly than the other ballroom tables with a romantic, white, leaf tablecloth and gold chivari chairs with white fabric wrapped around the back rests. Because our ballroom was already so elegant, ornate, and beautiful, we were able to keep our decorations minimalistic and simple.
My only complaint for the evening is that the day went by way way way too quickly. You can’t understand what I mean until you get married yourself – take it all in as much as you can! You can follow my wedding on @nubry’s Instagram account or with hashtag #nubrywedding!
