Remember all the people (asked in tune) who thought it was really bizarre for the Olsen twins to be strutting around in their John Lennon inspired round sunglasses? Per usual, the mini moguls were very ahead of this fashion-forward sunglasses trend. We have been seeing round sunglasses on countless celebs this spring and have to say that it’s time you got your round sunnies too.
Seen in SoCal, Miley looked edgy, yet tailored in her metal-rimmed round sunglasses, skull-printed romper, and combat boots. At Coachella, Lauren Conrad looked spring perfect in her round orange shades and wide brim hat, while Vanessa Hudgens channeled her inner hippie with gradient lensed, round sunglasses. On the other side of the world, Kristen Stewart amped up her basics with a pair of shiny, clear, round sunglasses, leather bomber jacket, and a neon trim, animal print handbag. Abbey Lee Kershaw mixed luxe with tribal in her tortoise shell shades (that we are oh-so-jealous of!). And, Beyonce vacationed in St. Barts while wearing oversized round sunglasses, printed top, and jean short cut-offs.
There are so many different options available this season for round sunglasses – size, color, lense, etc. – and we can’t wait to see which styles you choose. Leave a comment below with your favorite way to wear round sunglasses this spring/summer. And, don’t forget to tweet us @nubry with a picture of you in this season’s hottest stunner shades!
