What I love best about fashion rules is breaking the rules! I’ve never been and try my hardest not to be a “matchy matchy” girl. I don’t like to match my shoes to my handbag or my manicure with my pedicure, I just love to mix it up! One of my favorite ways of mixing it up is combining bracelets and baubles of various metals and textures for a cool, yet funky look. Below, I show you 4 different ways to mix and match baubles for the best “arm party”.

4 Ways to Mix and Match Bracelets
Subtle & Simple: I’m wearing a big Fendi cuff with gold logo, an enamel bracelet from Hermes with gold setting and my Marc Jacobs specialty bracelet in turquoise faux python with a dark grey logo cuff.

Silver and Gold: Here, I’m playing off the Marc by Marc Jacobs crystal and stud bracelet in the middle. It already has gold painted studs and silver links which makes it easier to mix in other silver and gold bracelets. I threw in a leather Fendi Selleria bracelet, Belle Noel mesh bracelet, Tiffany & Co. bead bracelet and to bring in a little more gold I tied in the Hermes Clic H bracelet in white enamel and gold.

Metal and Textures: Sometimes, the funkier and stranger the pieces the easier they are to mix together. I’m wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs Le Mouse cuff in graphite metal, red See by Chloe bangle and two smaller gold and swarovski crystal bracelets.

Accessories and Clothing: Currently, my favorite pieces in my wardrobe are my navy Marc Jacobs leather jacket with silver zipper details and my Hermes CDC bracelet in black with gold hardware. I wear these two together all the time and I love the way they look.

I’d just like to add the term “Arm Party” is solely the “brain juice” of Leandra Medine of Man Repeller, and I am in no way trying to steal nor take any ownership of MR’s coined term. You rock girl, and I throw two arm partied-out hands up in the air for you! Xo – Taqui Keshishyan
