If you’re like me and want to steer clear of those costumes in a bag, putting together a costume can be 10x more difficult. On a brighter note, however, with a little effort you can be a knockout and stand out in a crowd of costumes. Equally important, you won’t turn your back and see that girl wearing your same get up!

Here are a few ideas for fashion lovers like us:
Rachel Zoe – Be the Zoe we all dream of being this year! Just go ahead, go bananas! A fun hint is to pick up an empty Starbucks cup and write ‘The Zoe‘ or ‘Rachel” in bold black sharpie to be easily distinguishable.
You will need:
- Blonde wig (if you’re blonde, you wont have to worry about this)
- Solid or tribal printed maxi dress
- Fur jacket or big baggy overcoat
- Big dark sunglasses
- Rings, lots of rings
Anna Wintour – Just remember, not to smile. Serious faces people!
You will need:
- Short bobbed wig with bangs
- DVF wrap dress or go snag a cheap, cute dress from Forever 21
- Piles of necklaces
- Fur jacket or pick up some faux-fur fabric from a hobby store and wrap it as a scarf
- Large dark sunglasses
- Very chic heels
Karl Lagerfeld – A look as iconic as this can’t be confused and is surely a fun persona to have for a night!
You will need:
- White wig
- A pair of very dark black sunglasses, which you can find almost anywhere for under $10.00
- Crisp and ironed white button up
- Skinny black tie under a black blazer
- Black skinny jeans, leggings or trousers
Betsey Johnson – Be a real life Barbie girl with this outfit!
- If you already own items from Johnson it’s easy to pile it all on together to recreate her typical dramatic style
- You will also need a wig for this, but you don’t have to be too picky. As long as you can find a blonde stick straight wig, you’ll just need to chop here and there to get her very uneven bob.
- Don’t forget bright red lipstick and lots of smiles!
Now if these looks still don’t leave you inspired to get your Halloween gear together, worry not! We will be posting more ideas throughout the week. Don’t be afraid to make your Halloween attire unique. Have fun with it! Oh, and dont forget to tweet us your pictures @nubry using hashtag #NubryHalloween. Good luck!
